Ageless Encounters Festival - Yorkshire Dance

Ageless is a 2 day festival featuring exceptional work which celebrates challenges, comments on or deliberately disregards age.

 

This was the first showing of A Tree, a Tub and a Moment in Time at Yorkshire Dance’s Ageless festival after a 4 weeks rehearsal period. The piece had been devised to be performed in and meet the needs of a care home environment, but here at the festival it was shown to a larger mixed audience. Although not as intended, the piece thrived from being released out of the studio and to be connected and in conversation with people.

A Tree, a Tub and a Moment in Time went on to do a short tour of care homes in and around Leeds.
