A Tiger's Tale

A Tiger's Tale is a high spirited balancing act of circus, puppetry, music and song.

From a circus train in South Africa, to a steamboat on the Atlantic Ocean and onward to West Yorkshire, a ramshackle travelling troupe tell us the unbelievable true story of acrobats and their adopted tiger cub!

Join Titch, Ma & Pa on their riotous adventure into a world where 'all the best stories end with a surprise.'

For ages 4+

A Tiger’s Tale was inspired by the book Tiger on a String by Kassie Overend. It tells the true story of a family of acrobats who travelled the world with their circus act. When WW2 broke out, they returned home, back to their small Yorkshire village, with an additional family member, Fenella, a Sumatran tiger!

Holmfirth remembers her still and we think everybody should hear her extraordinary tale!

Mission - Save The World!

A highly visual, fun, energetic play about sibling rivalry, strengths, weaknesses and superheroes! Captain Clever is good at code breaking and problem solving, whilst Captain Conker is super-fast and not scared of anything (except spelling!) But the superheroes have a BIG problem—a very disgruntled Mission Control (voiced by Sue Johnston OBE).

As they race against the clock, a tadpole catching competition challenges the dynamic duo to harness their strengths and overcome their differences. Working as a team, can they save the world …together?!

"As near to perfect as any touring children's theatre production could ever be" - North West End

The Lost Story

An exciting and innovative family show formed in the round with underscored and recognisable tracks from the 1970s, comes to Mildenhall Library on June 12 as part of the Once Upon a Festival run by the Theatre Royal, Bury St Edmunds.

This is a story about fitting in and standing out, making new friends and treasuring old ones and hearing voices from the past that have words of wisdom for today.

“Each one of us is unique and has a voice. Friendship can lie in the most unexpected places if we have an open heart. Hearing a voice from the past can give you just what you need to hear now. Change might feel scary, but it can offer exciting opportunities”, said Gilly Baskeyfield, artistic director of M6 Theatre Company.
