A show set in Haiti and based on ‘The Voodoo Gods’ by Maya Deren, who was an experimental American film-maker who visited Haiti in the 1940s and ended up becoming a Voudon priestess. Her original films of Voudon culture and practices were a great inspiration for the choreography. A visually stunning show with use of large scale puppets, full masks, live music, singing and dancing that travelled by horse and cart to rural community venues.
